[ARCHIVED] Monday September 1st (Labor Day), garbage and recycling services will follow the holiday schedule

Garbage normally picked up on Monday September 1st, will be picked up on Tuesday September 2nd. Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday September 3rd, and so on until Friday routes are picked up on Saturday September 6th.
Recycling normally picked up on Monday September 1st, will be picked up on Tuesday September 2nd. Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday September 3rd, and so on until Friday routes are picked up on Saturday September 6th.
The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent Street, and the Yard Debris Site, located at 15 South Smith Street, will both be closed on Monday September 1st and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday September 2nd.
