Norwalk Transfer Station & Recycling Center

The Norwalk Transfer Station & Recycling Center is located at:
61 Crescent Street, Norwalk CT

The hours of operation at the Norwalk Transfer Station are:
Monday to Friday:       7:30 am - 3:00 pm
Saturday:                    7:30 am - 2:00 pm
Sunday:                      Closed

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a mask is required at the Norwalk Transfer Station.

Regulations


All Vehicles entering the Norwalk Transfer Station or the Norwalk Yard Waste Site, MUST have a valid City of Norwalk permit or pass.

Vehicles that do NOT have a Disposal Pass, Residential Permit Card or Commercial Account, there is a Minimum Charge of $20.

The Disposal Fee may be higher than the $20 minimum, depending on the weight of the material and the location (Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site).

Commercial Permit

Commercial Permits are available by appointment ONLY.

Commercial Permits expire every June 30.

Disposal Fees


Payment is accepted by Credit Card or Debit Card ONLY.
NO Cash or Checks are accepted at the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site.

Effective September 1, 2021 the Fee for Acceptable Solid Waste will be $95/Ton.
