RESIDENT STICKER – INSTRUCTIONS

Norwalk residents may only obtain a resident sticker in person at the following locations (NO MAIL IN REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED):

Recreation and Parks Office
  Norwalk City Hall, Room 129:
    TWO DAYS A WEEK ONLY
    Mondays – 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
    Fridays – 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
     
City Hall Atrium
  Norwalk City Hall, Lobby Entrance
    Monday thru Friday
    8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    WEEKEND (SATURDAY) AVAILABILITY
    Saturday – May 23, 2009          8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
    Saturday – June 27, 2009          8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

In order to receive a resident sticker you must be a resident of Norwalk or a property owner in the City of Norwalk.

INFORMATION REQUIRED TO OBTAIN A RESIDENT STICKER

A copy of your current vehicle registration (regardless of where the vehicle is registered or leased).

If the vehicle is registered or leased anywhere other than Norwalk, the resident must then provide copies of the following:
                   Current vehicle registration (original or copy)
                   Current Lease (within the current calendar year) or Mortgage Statement (must indicate a Norwalk address)
                   Two utility bills (phone, gas, electric, oil, water) or a tax bill or property deed

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NAME ON THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION MUST MATCH THE NAME ON THE LEASE, MORTGAGE, UTILITY BILLS, TAX BILLS OR PROPERTY DEED. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

REPLACEMENT STICKER INFORMATION

The city is not responsible for lost, stolen or destroyed stickers.  There will be a $100.00 charge for a replacement sticker if the original sticker is not returned to the Recreation and Parks Office.  If you are selling, trading in a lease, or replacing a windshield, please remove the sticker and return it to the office for a free replacement sticker.  If your vehicle is totaled or in an accident, please bring a copy of the police report or insurance report to receive a free replacement sticker.
