The Information
Technology Department currently operates and supports a Multi Platform
UNIX/Novell/NT Enviroment and all personal computers. It also maintains
the City's financial system (general ledger, accounts payable, payroll,
property tax assessment, tax billing and tax collection) on-line word
processing, electronic word processing, Internet access, web site design,
Intranet and various other smaller applications. The Information
Technology Department assists
City departments in meeting their information technology and data processing
requirements, improving employee productivity, and being responsive
to the needs of the public.
